Born near the forests and foothills of the southern German Alps, Berlin-based musician Hans Gnendinger was never more than a stone’s throw away from a land of nature and myth. Füssen, at the southern end of the Romantic Road, where violins and lutes are made, proved a nourishing breeding ground for the young composer. But it was on the streets and stages of Berlin that Hans honed his craft and success as a multilingual songsmith, guitarist, and performer. Fronting the trio Grizzly Bird, Hans merges his raw storytelling verve and intricate fingerpicking with the rhythmic sensation and powerful dynamics of a rock band. Grizzly Bird can move their audience from folk harmonies and quiet contemplation to ecstatic indie rock grooves, sometimes within a single song. Carried by Hans’ clear, lyrical voice, their songs offer us compelling narratives, subtle humour and humble observations about the state of the world. Hans began his career under the name Hans Sølo, releasing his first album, the introspective and kaleidoscopic Silence, in 2010. He then built a chamber pop ensemble with up to seven musicians to bring his compositions to stages and festivals in Germany and Europe. Some years and over a hundred concerts later, the playful and lushly orchestrated pop album Head in the Air was released in 2016. In 2017, wishing for a steadier and simpler line-up, Hans decided to ditch the ungoogleable Hans Sølo moniker and restart with a new band. With Florian Dietrich on drums and Nils Wenzel on bass, he found the right musicians to create maximum sonic impression as a trio. The group soon began recording Empathy, the debut album as Grizzly Bird. The name change also coincided with a move from more personal songwriting to universal, philosophical topics. Released in 2019 via The Famous Gold Watch Records, and mixed by Cameron James Laing at the eponymous studio in Berlin, Empathy is a concept album about animals and how we relate to them. In August 2020, Grizzly Bird entered The Famous Gold Watch studio to record four new songs written during that strange spring and summer in the shadow of the pandemic. The band ran a successful crowdfunding to print a vinyl of the new EP Somewhere Between in December, following the release of the first single The Drummer’s Trauma and its comedic video directed by Nick Scholey. It will be followed by The Lakes on February 26th, this time with a video directed by the band.

He wants to portray life through his lyrics and music in a truthful way with a sense of hope and is hard at work creating a lasting discography. It was Thomas’ 10 day visit to New York, USA in 2010 that inspired him to begin writing lyrics and singing more seriously. Since then he has been working tirelessly day and night on the craft of music. His inspiration in the music world is American singer-songwriter John Mayer because of his sound and authentic approach to music. He also likes Axl Rose of Guns N’Roses, Mark Knopfler, The Script, Don Henley of the Eagles, George Michael, Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz and many more hiphop and EDM artists. Thomas is drawn to strong male vocals and soulful lyrics. His hometown, Maastricht, is a university town with a multicultural feel. The town is culturally and architecturally diverse from the beautiful old fortress to modern museums. Because it is close to both Belgium and Germany and has several universities and colleges, Maastricht has a large international and university age population. Los Angeles based singer-songwriter, Skender Beck, is a Kosovan born modern rock artist, whose debut album ‘STARS ALIGNED’ is released on October, 2020. Through the arena rock lens of bands like U2 and Kings of Leon, the album explores inner conflict, hope, love, and Beck’s personal journey from Kosovo to the United States. Beck’s smooth yet haunting vocal style gives his songs a modern theatrical depth that is reminiscent of singers like Brandon Flowers. While ‘STARS ALIGNED’ marks Beck’s solo artist debut, he is also an experienced performer, singer, and actor. Though he currently resides in Los Angeles, Beck’s love for music grew during his childhood in Kosovo. As a young child, he developed a passion for singing, as well as acting, and performed in numerous musicals throughout the country. He eventually began landing roles on Kosovan television and was catapulted into childhood stardom. During his adolescence, social unrest worsened in Kosovo, and he coped by listening to classic rock artists like Pink Floyd, The Talking Heads, and The Doors. Later, Beck began playing music and performing with bands--a hobby that stuck with him throughout his life. As a young adult, Beck studied theater in Kosovo where he received a Bachelor’s Degree, as well as two National Theater Awards for his acting. In 1997, Beck migrated to New York City to continue his education at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, and has remained in the United States since. The songs on the record are a culmination of Beck’s story and present circumstances, and after years of these songs swirling around in his mind, Beck finally decided to bring them to life. He wrote the lyrics, sang the vocals, and arranged the instrumentation himself, though he collaborated with professional studio musicians to help him perfect the guitars, bass, drums, and keyboards/synths for the recording. For several of the songs on the album, Beck worked with Grammy-nominated mix engineer Marc DeSisto, whose accolades include working with classic rock legends like Pink Floyd and U2. Lonny Paul, guitarist from the band Adler, also noted Beck’s modern take on classic rock, stating that it reminds him of “....a modern day Pink Floyd with a little Dire Straits influence. Great songs, and production.” While the album title suggests luck in the “stars aligning”, Beck’s passion for music, life experiences, and hard work are the main factors that brought this album into existence.

Originally from Port-au-Prince, Jah Nissi was born on October 12, his real name Ernst Toussaint. Passionate about football, his dream was to become a professional player. But given the opposition of his parents, he was forced to change his mind. In the neighbourhood where he lived, there was a church and it was there that he discovered something in him: the music. In the 90s, his father, who was living in Venezuela, advised them, his younger brother and him, to find someone to teach them music. This is how they met one of the best Haitian bassists today, Moise Thermitus. With him, Ernst learned bass and his brother, the solo guitar. A few years later, he formats the group "Conquistadores" which means: The conquerors. In 1996, his family emigrated to Venezuela. Ernst perfected his musical career at a music school where he learned to play drums. A few years passed, his brother, some friends and him, formed a band called "THE WILL" who changed to "Stars" thereafter. But internal conflicts divided the group, some of whom wanted to become non-Christian (pagan). So his brother, two musicians and he left the group. They formed the group "FIRE OF LIFE". The group did not stand up to financial problems. In 2005, he left Venezuela, for the United States to try to achieve his musical dream, but it did not work. Finally in 2007, he moved permanently to Canada. He works on his image, his goals, his identity and realizes his big dream: his album. His music is Reggae Roots. He has been influenced by various great singers and musicians such as: Bob Marley, Alpha Blondy, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Morgan Heritage, Bookman Experyans, Eddy Francois, Midnite Nasio Fontaine, and many others. These artists really give him the strength to fight for the lower class, so that's where he comes from. They understand their pains, their vicissitudes of life. Their music has greatly transformed him and they made him what he is today: a Roots musician. It is since he was in Canada that he has discovered his true identity. Now he is committed to lead a life of struggle, to advocate reconciliation in his texts. He sings the misery of his people, the despair of a great nation. In his music, we find hope, we can dream of a better tomorrow. He wants to bring the Unit. Jah Nissi, that's all, a messenger of hope.

In the beginning was silence, infinite vastness and ominous nothingness. In it was life, and that life starts with elevator music. What follows, however, is not prog’s cliché-ridden repetitiveness, but truly genretranscending songwriting: exit A head unites all their influences ranging from metal to jazz, from rock to contemporary music, to something new. Roots and influences always remain audible resulting in complex yet catchy songs. Authentic expression just cannot be boxed in. This is also true for the power trio’s line-up. Next to classical music, jazz and the ukulele, there is always the wonderful world of rock to indulge in. Following the release of their debut album VOID and winning two silver medals at the Global Music Awards (Rock & Album), the trio was about to tread the boards before Covid struck.

“Anna Pardenik has an old soul. And, blessed with a rich, timeless vocal delivery, she has a voice to match. Pardenik pairs an affinity for moody, retro jazz with modern, indie-folk sensibilities, a seeming dichotomy both puzzling and fascinating. [She] is a singularly captivating performer, whether performing solo or with her eclectic, ragtag backing band, the Holy Smoke-Off. (That's an offshoot of sprawling "mad artists" collective Vermont Joy Parade, of which Pardenik is also a member.) ” Dan Bolles - Seven Days "Pardenik's singing and playing was an ear-pricking phenomenon (please, Anna, record something and sell it to me)." Dale Donaldson - False 45th "Pardenik has one of those creatively intense styles I’m constantly drawn to, where she seems to be making music not because she wants to but because she has to." Brent Hallenbeck - Burlington Free Press

Daniel Kipchumba Kirwa Kole, artistically known as Kolé, is an alternative, hip hop rapper, singer and songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. Kolé is a founding member of Australian music collective Noble Bass Studios Entertainment (NBS Entertainment). NBS is also home to American rapper, Bayb James and Australian producer, Liljoshybeats. Daniel was born on October 25, 2000 in Eldoret, Kenya. In 2005 his father and mother, who are big advocates of education, were accepted in schools in Australia. The young couple had to make the tough decision to fly to Melbourne where his father would pursue a degree in Resilience, a study on social struggles faced by the youth of today. His studies would expand four years and during this time, Kolé and his older sister would stay with his grandparents in Kenya. In 2009, when Kolé was eight years old, his parents came back to move the two siblings to Melbourne, Australia after Daniel's father completed his undergraduate degree. Not knowing anyone, or even speaking English (the main language spoken in Australia), young Kolé was excited for the new adventure. As a teenager in a new country, with the help of his older sister Shirley, Kolé began navigating through the discovery of his own identity in addition to his own interests, mainly for video games and anime, something that is evident on his current social media platforms and music releases. By 2014, Kolé's relationship and admiration for his sister led to his current taste of music. His sister would introduce him to artists: 21 Savage, XXXTentation, Juice WRLD, Lil Peep and Black Veil Brides, who would later become his biggest inspirations in his own music. In 2016, a friend of Daniel's challenged him on his ability to rap. In his competitive nature, Kolé downloaded Audacity(a free sound recording software) and sought out to prove him wrong. In the process of challenging him wrong he began developing a genuine new interest and love that would join the likes of video games and anime. In 2018, Kolé released his debut single "She Said." In the short period of time creating music, Kolé has successfully built a local following that includes Tik Tok influencers Jack OG Lovelady and Mason Leech. The new fan base encouraged Kolé to continue pursuing music, releasing eight more singles to accompany his debut release. A year after the release of "She Said" in 2019 Kolé partnered up with Australian rapper Antho to develop a creative collective called Noble Bass Studios Entertainment better known as NBS Entertainment. NBS currently is home to Bayb James, Kolé, Antho, Lil Joshy Beatz and 808 Mike. Kolé also inherited the importance of education from his parents. While building his music career he has also obtained a Certificate IV in Disability Care and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business. Kolé is now hard at work in the studio working on his debut solo project as well as a collaborative project with the members of NBS Entertainment. BACKGROUND AND BIO FOR BILL HART WRITTEN BY ROBERT S. SILVERSTEIN Guitarist and composer Bill Hart earned his stellar reputation as a guitarist, composer, bandleader, music educator, touring musician and recording artist. Having released six CDs as leader of his world-renowned Bill Hart Band, Bill has also proven his merit as a guitar instructor. Bill’s music book, Solo Jazz Guitar: The Complete Chord Melody Method, issued by Hal Leonard in 1999 and reissued in 2007, is an excellent tutorial for aspiring guitarists. Speaking about his role as a guitar instructor, Bill explains “I have taught students from all over the world, with interests in all styles of music, and have seen them all benefit from studying chord melody”. Among the musicians in the know that have given praises to Bill’s book are guitar heroes such as Mike Stern (“a must-have for every serious guitarist”) and Steve Khan (“Bill’s book provides you with all the tools”). Bill Hart was born in Toronto, Canada on January 13th, 1964 and when he was 13, Bill moved with his family to Jacksonville, Florida where he began his music studies at Jacksonville University. Moving to Los Angeles, Bill continued his education at the famous Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT), where he expanded and built upon his musical knowledge and guitar skills, all the while becoming immersed in a variety of music styles and genres such as rock, pop, funk as well as Latin, Cuban, Fusion and a range of jazz styles. In the late 1980s Bill began his career as a guitar instructor at the prestigious Atlanta Institute of Music (AIM) in Georgia and worked his way up to head the institute’s guitar department, where he taught guitar for over 25 years. While developing his skills as a performing guitarist, music teacher and composer at AIM, Bill Hart further added to the guitar curriculum performing seminars and clinics with contemporary guitar masters such as Mike Stern, Steve Khan, Shane Theriot and Scott Henderson. At the Atlanta Institute of Music & Media, Bill Hart merged his guitar knowledge and music education skills while teaching and mentoring over 4000 students. Bill Hart has also toured Mexico and South America with his original music, performing at big venues. He was awarded a letter from the U.S. embassy in Venezuela on behalf of the Bill Hart Band for his contributions to the students in South America. Bill Hart is also a Grammy award nominee. Bill Hart’s concepts on guitar performance and education are enlightening and are considered essential in today’s musical environment. Bill Hart’s goal in working in music education is to provide ambitious students with the strongest music learning experiences available. Bill’s methods and strategies for music education - including providing a wealth of firsthand guitar techniques and knowledge in the areas of composing, recording and live music performance - are based upon a desire to provide students with a detailed background and explanation regarding the subject matters. Enabling students to comprehend and make the most of complex musical concepts like improvisation, soloing and reharmonizing songs is based upon his understanding of both music, jazz harmony and in general, the art of the guitar. Following five critically acclaimed instrumental jazz-fusion albums, on his 6th and current 2018 Blujazz Productions CD, Live at Red Clay Theatre, Bill Hart’s guitar-based instrumental sound proves authentic and compelling in a live concert setting. Recorded in June 2017 at the Atlanta concert venue, and released at the end of 2017, Live at Red Clay Theatre spotlights Bill’s current six-piece band. Bill also released a live concert DVD in 2005, called Think About It. Speaking about Live at Red Clay Theatre, Bill explains, "This live CD will be number six. All the tracks are original but none of them are new, although you could say they are new versions that somehow have taken on a beautiful life of their own.” Bill Hart toured in Europe and the U.K. in early September 2018 through mid-October 2018.
From Outkast to Ike & Tina Turner, and even the likes of Bow Wow and Omarion, are just a couple prime examples within music, in which Duo groups conquered the airways. Influences in music that have catapulted the making of today’s up-coming group, The Icon X Mr. R&b. The two began their music careers creating music in the late 2000’s. Both reigning from the islands of Trinidad and Tobago, and living within Hackensack New Jersey, brought them to collaborate in making music. From influences reigning from 90’s r&b, rapping styles from the likes of Maze and LL Cool J, invigorated singspirations of Luther Vandross and Teddy Pendergrass, infused a love for reinventing the music from their inspirations. For 13 years they have created multiple songs together from fan favorites, ‘Cause I Like Ya’ to ‘Can I’, now having the two venturing off as a collective duo approaching the music game in 2020. With their first single in years hitting the music platforms called, ‘Sex’, has already captivated music pungents turning their heads for what the group will drop next. Originally from Seattle, WA, emerging artist, Siahna possesses all the qualities a fan of an indie pop culture could desire. She dominates with a rich, soulful voice dripping with a texture that conveys her heartfelt, deeply personal lyrics in a way that resonates with the listener. Add to that a bright, relatable, charismatic presence to deliver it all and you have an audience that is invested in the stories she shares through her lyrics. As an artist, she finds herself stylistically influenced primarily by soul and jazz genres-specifically artists Ray Charles, Amy Winehouse and her favorite singer/songwriter of all time, Billy Joel. Season 9 of NBC’s The Voice gave Siahna her opportunity to shine on a national level with the then 15-year-old songstress taking the stage and belting out a smoky and eloquent rendition of Fever. Siahna says she wouldn’t change her experience on The Voice for anything as it taught her to cope with high-pressure situations and enabled her to grow as an artist and gain recognition. 2019 has been the year where Siahna has dedicated herself to completing her latest EP, "Innocence". Since then, she has been working on developing her music by adding new influences and creating a new and completely refreshed style. The main focus of 2020 is to delve into new genres. Siahna is currently working on new projects experimenting with soul, hip-hop, and R&B with an aim to mix up the 90s with the fresh sound of 2020. Without a doubt, by mixing up different styles and taking influences from many genres with a solid base and a cultural impact, Siahna is a multitalented and curious artist with an enormous love for cultures and music exploration.
